BIPP - Battering Intervention Prevention Program
The BIPP program curriculum is designed to help adults who display
aggression toward their intimate partners. The BIPP program teaches anger control, critical
thinking skills, and addresses socio-cultural problems regarding violence and gender. The program is designed to help batterers
understand how they alone are in control their thoughts and actions.
- Development of specific strategies that will help manage
negative thoughts and behaviors.
- Topic elements of the
BIPP program include budgeting, communication, developing coping skills, developing decisioning making skills.
Self-Control Strategies assist in curbing impulsive
behavior.

- Phase I: Intake and Orientation (PRE-PAID $55.00, 1.5 HOURS)
- Phase II: On-Going Group Sessions
- In
order to successfully complete the program, participants are required to attend 18 weekly two-hour group sessions.
Group Sessions are held on WEDNESDAYS from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m ENGLISH

program does not guarantee that they will change or that they will no longer be violent. Completion only indicates that they
have met the minimum requirements of attendance, participation, and payment of services.
